Abstract: Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) has one of the highest incidences of diabetes and diabetes-related lower-limb amputations (LLA) in Canada. Despite the high prevalence, clinical resources addressing diabetic foot management are lacking. This project aimed to develop a comprehensive clinical resource to support health-care providers (HCPs) in providing diabetic foot care. Cumulatively, the findings informed the development of a joint organizational and individual-level strategy consisting of an infographic and custom button to aid in the application of the Wounds Canada Foot Health Pathway for People Living with Diabetes. A joint organizational and individual-level strategy may be effective in improving outcomes for patients with diabetic foot concerns in NL.
