Wounds Canada is delighted to partner with hospitals in Northern Ontario to build capacity in skin health among Personal Support Workers (PSWs) through the Skin Health Program (SHP), in partnership with acute care organizations.

Government of Ontario funding will support 100 PSWs working in Northern Ontario Hospitals in completing the Skin Health Program (SHP) over a 12-week period. Applications for these funded seats are now being received.  PSW staff are invited to register as soon as possible and include a sponsor letter from their organization.

All applicants must be employed by one of the hospitals LISTED HERE to be eligible. Additionally, all applicants will require a letter of support from their direct supervisor (this letter can be found on the application form).

Eligibility: PSWs employed in a one of the approved Northern Ontario Hospitals.

Wounds Canada will enter into data-sharing agreements with partnering Northern Ontario Hospitals to support enrolled staff and to participate in a comprehensive program impact and outcome evaluation process.
