Wounds Canada is proud to offer support, education and resources to people in Canada living with wounds or who are at risk for wounds. We focus on raising awareness and providing financial support for programs that help prevent the often-devastating effects of wounds. Our goal is to help bring prevention and awareness of wounds to the forefront of care. That's why our scholarship program, through the Wounds Canada Institute, funds essential education for health-care providers, unregulated care providers and caregivers. We believe targeting the gap in knowledge about wound prevention and management is crucial to bringing positive change in our health-care systems.
The objectives of the scholarship program are to ensure:
- Consistency with Wounds Canada’s vision, mission and values
- Timely dispersal of the funds, in keeping with the Wounds Canada charitable status
- Fairness and transparency within the scholarship criteria
- A robust process and infrastructure for ongoing Wounds Canada programs
Submission deadline is Wednesday, July 31st, 2024.
